Yes, all Master programmes are part-time; however, neither the Bachelor nor the Foundation programmes are offered as part-time.
Firstly, you need to check the entrance requirements for our programmes. If you don`t meet the criteria for direct entry onto one of our Bachelor programmes, then our Foundation Programme is designed to help prepare students for further study. Successful completion of the Foundation Programme can lead to entry onto one of our Bachelor programmes.

English is the language of tuition at GUtech.
However, all BSc students must undertake German language classes as part of their degree programme once they have reached an IELTS level of 6.0.

Transportation can be arranged within the capital area, from Al Khoud to Wadi Kabir, but is NOT included in the tuition fees.
Payment of your tuition fees within the stipulated dates is a prerequisite of enrollment.
You can pay by:
  • Cheque
  • Cash
  • Telegraphic transfer/electronic transfer.

Please do not send cash through postal mail.

Scholarship students must submit proof of the award.
If you choose to pay by telegraphic or electronic transfer, please provide proof of payment including name, programme of study and the application number mentioned in your offer letter.
Yes, you can pay in either two or three installments per semester. If you opt to pay by installments, please submit the tuition installment plan form to the Finance Department.
Our staff in the housing and transportation department can assist you by providing transportation services with additional charges depend on the transportation route from and to Gutech.
Yes, the University can provide in campus accommodation facilities for its students, but the first priority will be given for females students, then international students
Yes, the German university of Technology in Oman is an international university, and already we have 35 nationalities.
Our lectures are from different countries and most of them from Europe.

We approve admission of transfer applicants. To be eligible for consideration for admission, applicants should meet the following conditions; good academic standing, transferring from a recognized and accredited institution of higher education offering learning experiences equivalent to which offered by GUtech, they should meet the GUtech requirements for admission such as English language proficiency requirements (IELTS). Also have to submit the official transcripts of high school and college/university records along with the syllabi and descriptions of courses they seek to transfer.
